Hi Edna,
Here you go!

Lily started at Edna’s Day Care when she was 14 months old. As first time parents we were very uncomfortable to leave our baby and were looking for a place that offered a nurturing and loving environment, had a limited amount of children, and would support our child's growth and development. From the time we walked in to Edna’s Daycare, we knew we had found the place we were looking for. We could not be more pleased with how Lily has progressed at Edna’s. At 2 years old, she is very social, has an extensive vocabulary, knows her numbers and alphabet, is a great musician, and has some pretty impressive yoga moves. Edna has created a stimulating, interactive and supportive environment that we are so grateful to have found and would definitely recommend it to any of our friends and family.

Thank you Edna!

Edna:

I really don’t know where to begin. I can’t believe Siena has already been with you almost 2 years!! Diana and I can’t thank you enough for helping Siena become such a beautiful little girl. When Siena came to you at 10 months old, it was a scary moment for us. As first time parents having our child come to an unknown place was odd.

We truly couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Siena is sweeter, smarter and more sensitive because of the care of you and your staff. She is so much fun each and every day. She loves celebrating Shabbat every week and now teaches me the songs I forgot from my childhood.

I know we will continue to see you as our new daughter will be coming to you in no time but it won’t be the same. Our little girl is growing up and doing so well because of you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for the hard work you have spent on with Siena. I promise it didn’t go unnoticed.

You are part of our family now so I look forward to continuing this journey together.

With love,

Aaron and Diana Judovits

Edna:
I am sitting writing you and I was just thinking how much I appreciate having you in our lives. I want to thank you for all that you do and have done for us. Siena is turning into a wonderful little girl and I know you have a very big part in this. I truly can’t thank you enough for having such a special place that our daughter gets to go to everyday. I will miss bringing Siena to your daycare next year but I will enjoy bringing the new addition. See you tomorrow...
Take care,

It seems like Sophia is loving daycare at your home and we just wanted to thank you again for providing such a wonderful environment.
Thank you so much for the loving care you have provided Sophia this fall. It has made the transition to California so much easier for all of us, and we are so happy to have a place for her to be with other children and with other adults that she enjoys so much.

Many years ago, when my youngest sister was 2, I had the duty to drive her to and from daycare every day.  This is how I met Edna. As my sister's second mommy, my heart swelled with pride as much as any actual mom's would, seeing her in the special environment of Edna's Daycare, and I knew that I would someday bring my kids here too. I was true to my promise.  All four of my daughters have attended Edna's Daycare, known in our family as "Gan" or simply, "Edna's house."  The fact that I sent all my kids here speaks for itself, but there are many amazing reasons to send your kids here.  First of all, when you walk in, you are not bowled over with that familiar "daycare smell" of pee and erasers.  I have never seen such a clean facility, and the kids are often cleaned, changed, and encouraged to wash hands and practice good hygiene.  They sparkle. While being called a "daycare," I personally call it a "school for babies." Edna told me long ago that these young babies and toddlers understand and have the capacity to learn at a much higher level than one would think.  At Edna's, you see that as truth.  At a very young age, they learn colors, identify letters, sing songs, dance, know about holidays, do art projects, and even grasp the social concepts of being good friends, saying sorry, and "thinking" about their actions.  All this in one of the most cheerful, safe, happy and loving environments I have seen in my many years of being a parent (and a second parent to my sisters J)

Edna is genuinely warm and loving to the kids in a way that feels like family.  She really comes to know and understand each child, their personalities and their nuances, able to truly anticipate their needs and desires.  Did I mention that Edna is an amazing cook? If you think your kids are picky eaters, wait until they try Edna's home cooking.  If I wasn't convinced but what I see as a parent day in and day out, then all I need is to look to my toddler, who literally rushes me out the door each morning to get to Edna's house, and barely has time to kiss me good-bye as she rushes into Edna's bright, happy classroom or backyard.  I see how Edna's Daycare feels like a second home to her.

My 4th and youngest daughter, Omri, is about to graduate from Edna's Daycare this summer, a truly bittersweet event.  Alas, no more babies in the queue for future years, but the memories we have made here will last forever, and I am not letting Edna off the hook so easily - she is stuck with my family as a lifelong friendJ

Dear Edna,

Danielle and Jonathan were in your Day Care for the last three years, from 2007-2010.

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude. Thank you for your devoted care and the enrichment classes that you provided, whether they were Yoga or Baking classes that my kids enjoyed, and of course not to mention learnt a lot from them.

Also, thank you for the feeling of security you gave my kids, it built their confident and self esteem, and the safety in all the toys and entertainments you provide in your day care.
All of the above and more, which I cannot even describe in words, gave me a peace of mind. I knew my kids were happy and above all safe, therefore I could go on with my daily routine with no worries or fears.

As for Danielle and Jonathan, I am sure they will stay with special memories and experiences that will be with them for the rest of their lives.  And if we will have another baby in the future, you can count we will send him or her to you….

And for all of that and much more, I salute you!

Thank You,

Liron Ben Salamon

Edna,

Marc and I just wanted to tell you how thrilled we are with your daycare.

We are thrilled and thankful everyday to have you in our lives. Lily has blossomed in your care. When we were looking for daycare I toured about 10 sites and spoke to over 50 providers, all of which were recommend by the UCLA daycare coordinator, who vets each site personally and only recommends centers that meet the university’s standards. Your home is easily the cleanest, brightest, and most organized. We were especially thrilled about the outdoor area, which seemed so beautiful with trees and the foliage and fun with the swings and trampoline. So many daycares only have a little patch of concrete for the kids to play on, if they have any outdoor area at all, whereas your backyard looked like an adventure playground. Lily is such an active child, I felt that she would be really thrilled with this area. We’re sorry to see the trampoline go.

No other daycare we saw had nearly so many activities. Lily loves circle time and yoga and all the extra circular activities you arrange for them. Music, art, Hebrew, and all the holiday festivities. We love filling Lily’s life with music and games, so we’re glad that you organize the daytime activities, and then we take over at night.

Lily loves your food and definitely eats more at your house than at home. I appreciate the diversity and the consistency. She loves your chicken soup most of all. You always have fruit in the morning and a nice selection of vegetables at lunch. I can’t imagine trying to get 10 toddlers to eat broccoli, it’s hard enough with one.

My biggest fear about sending your child to daycare was that she wouldn’t get enough attention. Lily is very, very affectionate child. She loves to be held and cuddled. This is more important than anything else to us. We don’t expect perfection. We expect warmth and love, and we know that Lily can be demanding because she wants to be held so often. But this is what she needs right now, she looks like a 2-3 year old, but she’s only 15 months. A baby still! You do a wonderful job managing this and your helpers are all very warm and affectionate with her. We appreciate this so much. It means the world to us.

Thank you for all that you do. You are a blessing.

Love,

Marc and Elizabeth

We believe that we are very fortunate to be able to send our daughter to Edna's Daycare. We have found the daycare to be a very warm, loving, nurturing and safe environment for our daughter. We are constantly surprised and delighted by the amount of information she is learning from Edna. The activities that Edna provides are well though out and very comprehensive. Our daughter loves going to daycare and we couldn’t imagine a better environment for her to spend so much time.

We just want to let you know that Hannah enjoys the gan. She’s excited to come each morning and enjoys her friends there. We are grateful for the education she is receiving in Hebrew and holidays and Jewish tradition.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Dear Edna,

I just wanted to let you know that we absolutely adore you. We are happy with everything about the daycare. It makes us sad to think that you have been made to feel stressed out about the way you run things and we hope it is reassuring to you to know how grateful we are for all you do for Malka.

With love,

Mia and Patrick

Before we chose to come to Gan Edna we really did our homework. We looked at several Israeli gans in the neighborhood, including those recommended by close friends. In the end, Gan Edna was a cut above all the rest in terms being a safe, stimulating, and loving environment, with the added bonus of being in a lovely calm and fun setting. Malka is thriving in Edna’s care---she never eats or sleeps this well at home!---and clearly loves Edna and her assistants so much. We fell really lucky to have found Gan Edna.
